Even though our high-quality dried fruit is mainly produced in Africa, HPW AG remains firmly rooted in Switzerland. Our production facilities in Ghana and the Ivory Coast are subsidiaries of HPW AG, while in Kenya we work in close partnership with the company Vert Ltd. in the areas of production expertise, quality assurance and marketing. The shares of HPW AG are fully owned by our management team. The company employs 20 people in Switzerland in management and development, customer service, administration and support for its own production facilities in West Africa.

We started in 1999 with fresh cut fruit fresh from harvest. Harvested, peeled, cut and packed in Africa. The years have taught us to manufacture and develop products with producers in the South. We have developed expertise in dealing with producers and logistics. We have always focussed on the interests of supermarket chains and customers.
We continue to successfully represent our producers on the Swiss market. We are committed to the development of new, trendy niche products or private labels. The expertise we have acquired should be utilised and also helps us to better understand the international markets

We attach particular importance to being close to our markets and customers. This close relationship enables us to continuously optimise our products and develop innovative new products for Western markets. From our headquarters in Switzerland, we provide key account management for our loyal customers, with additional branches in the USA and Northern Europe. Our aim is to offer customised product and logistics solutions that meet the individual needs of our customers.

HPW AG operates on two continents, but our team is always closely networked and continuously working on improvements. Daily communication between our manufacturing subsidiaries in Africa and the parent company in Switzerland ensures smooth goods and material planning as well as efficient logistics. Even if nature sometimes presents unforeseeable challenges, we always find ways to overcome them successfully.
