HPW's newly built factory is situated in the heart of Ivorian pineapple production, 80 kilometers east of the capital, Abidjan. Despite the global coronavirus crisis, we completed this state-of-the-art dried fruit plant within 8 months, and production commenced in mid-June 2020.
At this facility, we process 8,000 tonnes of fresh mangoes, pineapples, coconuts, and bananas into 800 tonnes of premium dried fruit annually, with a significant portion being organic.
The Ivorian plant operates year-round and employs 450 people. We source pineapples and coconuts from numerous farmers in the south of the country and mangoes from the north of Côte d'Ivoire. Our focus is on developing robust and high-quality organic supply chains, with HPW agronomists providing both technical and financial support to help farmers achieve the necessary organic certification.
We are expanding our production capacity to process 30 tonnes of fresh fruit daily, with up to half being organic, all while adhering to the highest international food standards.
The sustainable business model successfully implemented by HPW in Ghana will be rapidly adopted in Côte d'Ivoire as well. Our core objectives include achieving "zero waste" and "zero CO2 emissions" as central elements of this model.

Our production facilities in Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire work in close coordination. Weekly meetings determine production schedules and quantities, enhancing efficiency while ensuring consistently high quality standards.
